I got a very special gift yesterday!

If I had a camera I'd be able to share it with you all....
I got a synthetic Alexandrite !! My teacher at syntra, knows of my little Alexandrite-obsession.
When he was going through his old gemstone collection, he found a synthetic alexandrite.
" Ofcourse that made me think of someone " He said as he gave me the gemstone.
I am soooo happy with it!
The colour-changing quality of Alexandrite isn't very flashy-looking with this stone though.
It looks light purple-greenish in daylight, and it glows dark purple-red in fake light.
But I'm NOT complaining. I'm definatly going to make a gorgeous necklace for this stone.
I already have some crazy ideas for it!
And it's strange, now I got one I want MORE.
So, the next stone I'll be buying will definatly be a lab-alexandrite.
I found a labratory that's specialised in growing Alexandrite, and the colour-changing magic of their alexandrites are amazing!

Sadly, I already have an enormous list of things I want to make...And buying another alexandrite will simply make my list even longer.....
Oh dear if only I had MORE TIME.
