So, just something I wish to share

Recently my father and I watched the movie " The scorpion king 2 "
Movie itself was... alright.
But this side character, Ari ... he's the cutest thing.
All the male characters were big, tall, muscular war machines.
And then there was Ari, The poët, who managed to get everyone in unpleasant situations.
This movie is filled with battles, And Ari is always the one hiding underneath a table, or behind a wall, writing everything down while laughing like a maniac.
 And he does it while being utterly adorable.

I want a movie in which he's the main character.
Like now.
Screw Mathayus, the scorpion king.

I'm so tired of this weather!

Just how cold was it today ?
It's like winter just started all over again.
I just hate the cold, And I get cold really easily !
In the atelier I always wear two sweaters, because it's always freezing in there!
And this winter really is feeding on my energy.
I need the sun! I need vitamins !

Oh, I can't wait for spring to come...
I really need to see the flowers bloom again, it really does bring a smile on my face.

And I'm tired of wearing a thick winter jacket.
As soon as it gets warmer outside I'll go ' spring shopping '.
Not only because I need new clothes, but also because there's no shopping like spring shopping <3

Ring teaser

So, I finally managed to find the time to finish one of the many rings I'm working on.
And I've decided to already share it with you all, so you can have an idea of what's still to come!

The rings is made in Silver, and Black Rhodium.

I can't wait to get back to this little freestyle collection.
sadly, I have to find the time in between the many repairs and other assignments.

Oh, and another thingCath and I are going to Croatia!

more milk shots !

I'm really enjoying this milky theme.
Milinda and I came up with the idea to have a milk- duo shoot.
And ofcourse, Bram was really excited about it!
That same week, we had our little duo shoot.

Makeup was done again by Dennis Heyndrickx.
he's really good in what he does, and he used the most gorgeous shade of lipstick on me!
The very next day I bought the same one myself.

Milinda was pretty nervous about it.
Bram being such a good photographer and all.
But she did such an amazing job!
At first she was a little shy but not much later she started to relax.
And last but not least, we had such fun.
I really love working with this team.

This picture was a lucky shot really. The water had gotten cold and so we were waiting for the bath to fill up again. I was just staring in silence as Milinda was trying to straighten her hair again.
Bram liked how serious I was looking at Milinda and so he took a quick picture. With this as the result. I really like this one!

And here is the first teaser Bram has already shared with us on his facebook page. I love the result. Can't wait for the rest!

And I shouldn't forget to add, Bram and I will be doing another shoot next weekend.
There won't be milk involved, this time, but it will take place in his bathtub.
It's going to be awesome!

the enchanted doll contest

I've been working on the preporations for a while, and was ready to finish my entry.
but now, A whole new idea struck me, which I like a whole lot more.
sadly, it's kinda risky....
I have no idea if I'll be going against the rules if I go with this one.
you see, I'm playing with the idea of making a non-paper postcard.
Measurements and everything will be the same, just a different material.
The rules say nothing about materials so... Maybe I could give it a try ?
ugh I hate it that it's so risky, but I'm loving this new idea I'm having!

I placed my question on her blog, I'm hoping she'll answer quickly.
Plus I hope the post office is okay with me sending something like that along with the mail.

I'm so excited about this!

exhausted

I'm sick, so I haven't gone to work today nor yesterday.
On thursday, I'll have to go back to work though.
I'm glad actually, because staying home, in my case, is far from relaxing.
Just yesterday I nearly had a heart attack, well we all did.
my mom woke me up last night, by running up the stairs in panic.
I heard her say something to my father, and they ran back downstairs.
before I knew what was happening, they were in the car.

I couldn't call them, for they had both left their cellphones at home.
I stayed up all night, waiting for them to come home again.
After a night that seemed to last forever, my father walked in, and told me my brother had another attack.
But, he's fine now... he stayed in the hospital for the rest of the day, and is now home again with us.
He's very sick, and now we're just doing what we can to make him better.

So, today I mostly slept, or adleast tried to.
But, I should thank Milinda, she was there for me when I was terrified, and all alone last night.
She was the only one I could contact, because I knew she was still awake at that hour.

Today is my last day off, so I better enjoy it. I'll probably just sleep all day.

oh, and I'm back into my Tintin obsession.
When I wasn't sleeping I was reading and watching the adventures of Tintin
Which reminds me Cath and I still need to watch the old, life action movie of tintin again !
