crazy new photoshoot project SOON

So, I'm planning a new photoshoot with the lovely Catherine Skwara!

What it will be...I won't be telling yet though.
But I can say that it pleases my inner geek and Fangirl! ( doesn't everything I do with Catherine Skwara please my inner fangirl and geek ? I mean...mermaid shoot, Avatar shoot... )

Why Catherine ? Her photographs are always stunning plus she's a very talented stage makeup artist!
So, if I want to be turned into some weird unhuman creature she's the first one I go to.

Sadly finding the correct props will be the most difficult thing for this shoot.
I won't be photographed full body so I don't need an entire outfit, still, the athmosphere has got to work so I'll need accesoires.

they'll probably be self made because I doubt I'll be able to find those things in ordinary shops.

Wandering warrior

A wandering warrior... I guess my love for that term grew thanks to playing final fantasy all these years.
The idea of a lone traveller trying to survive as he/she looks for whatever lies in it's future sounds very appealing to me.
Just going forward, not looking back, facing everything that comes in your way without hesitation; meeting people along the way that you later on concider as friends... or rivals...
the life of a wandering warrior is one that I often dream about.
I've been writing for a while now on a this fantasy-faerytale story in which some of the characters are what I like to call " wandering warriors ".
Designing them and creating them is what is for me the most time consuming.
Not because I find it the most difficult part, but simply because I want it to be perfect.
I don't just want an empty shell, I want a character that's 'human '. ( even if the character itself isn't human if you know what I mean )
Anyway, now, I'm thinking about their outfits.
floating, waving layers, mostly one coloured, held together with belts and buckles, straps and ropes. weaponry hidden somewhere between those layers of different fabrics and material, decorated with metal ornaments and objects they've collected on their travels. Elegant, mesmerizing, yet a shade that slips by and is never to be seen again.
This is what I think fits my idea of the wandering warrior.
Luckely tumblr is filled with gorgeous outfits that fit the athmosphere of the " wandering warrior " I wish to create.

I'm trying to make a wandering warrior outfit for my BJD, Blood. and for myself!
They are both starting to take form.
And once my outfit is done I'de love to do a shoot with it!
I hope a photographer will be interested in this idea.
I'll be waiting to sell my swords, daggers, shuriken aso for a while as well. I might use them for that photoshoot.

Teaser shoot ' The client Kontich '

Love the contrast between the dark scales and my white skin and dress .

Yeah...you can't see that much yet, but I guess that's why it's called a teaser, right ?

I can't wait for the rest. I had so much fun, some were terrified of the snakes. ( two hairdressers and one of the models ) and so things were a little tense while the snakes were out.
luckely they were so friendly and curious. They seemed to be okay with me handeling them.
Some were calm while other were very active and refused to stay still.
At first I too was afraid, but not of the snakes, but of handeling them. I was afraid I'd hurt them or make them feel uncomfortable or stress them out.
But, after a few minutes they had grown used to me and they allowed me to do everything with them really!
" You, go there, no there! and you...yes there! don't move now! ...you, what do you think you're doing ?"
Yes the hairdressers and other models were looking at me in a funny way for I was talking to them between taking pictures. ofcourse the snakes ignored me completely...

They were plain adorable though... I've always liked the idea of having a snake. but it's the feeding part I dislike....
However, There are snakes small enough to keep without having to feed them rats and mices , no ? I'm sure there are.
hmmm... Might be an idea for when I'm living on my own.

This tiny, thin snake would look gorgeous with my BJDs as well :') I'd shoot them together all the time!

You'll have to wait a while for the actual pictures though. First, they must finish the book for the client in which the pictures will be seen, and only after that we models will be allowed to spread the pictures ourselves.

Commercial Photoshoot

I'll be doing a hair-shoot for " de Client " soon!
The pictures will be published, and I am very excited about it.
During the casting, they were brainstorming about what to do with my hair.
"pastel pink " Came up often, so I'm really curious about it. Since I've always thought about getting pastel -or salmon pink in my hair.
They've also been so kind to tell me whom of the team will be responsible for my look.
I was so glad when it turned out the guy who was yelling " HER FACE IS DESIGNED FOR PASTEL COLOURS! She NEEDS it in her hair! LIKE, NO JOKE " all the time when he looked at me, will be giving me my make-over. after the casting he came over to me and told me he'd do everything to get to do my hair! So I'm not surprised it's him in the end though, hahaha!

Also, In the latest email they've mentioned I'll be sharing the spotlights with an owl.
Yes!  I really, really can't wait !!!
I'm glad I was chosen as one of the models... I was pretty nervous during the casting...but it all turned out well in the end!
